Over the years, be it in my personal life or in my career, I have learned that there is nothing more important to achieving and maintaining success than the character level of the people you surround yourself with, and the standards you consistently hold yourself to.  As a realtor, I feel that my number one job is to have your best interest at heart and to earn your trust by always being straightforward, accessible, responsive, and professional.  I strongly believe in the benefits of taking the necessary time to get to know my clients as individuals in order to fully grasp their personal taste as well as their specific goals.

I have a genuine understanding of the emotional ties that buyers and sellers can have for a particular property.  At the same time, the emotional ties involved are a big part of what makes me love, and feel so passionate about, real estate; there is simply no greater feeling of fulfillment than that moment in which you introduce your client to the property they have been envisioning themselves in, or securing on your client's behalf an offer for their home that they are so grateful to have received.  I can tell you with complete sincerity that I am someone that chose to work in real estate for no greater reason than the simple fact that I flat out love it.

Before starting my career in real estate I had a successful 15 year career in Commercial Insurance Brokerage in New York City where I dealt directly with the CEOs and CFOs of many prominent companies in order to successfully manage their Property and Liability Insurance programs.  Given the nature, and location, of this prior experience, I am accustomed to a fast-paced, high intensity environment, and I developed the strong relationship, negotiation and marketing skills I now utilize as a realtor.  I am a polished professional that is 100% customer service oriented, meticulous when it comes to the details, and am keenly aware as to the importance of managing a client's expectations and doing all you can to avoid any surprises.

I presently reside in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of the city with my wife Holly (a top Human Resources Executive at Visa) and our son Barrett.  I believe what makes living in San Francisco so uniquely special is that it provides all of the amenities and convenience of a big city, yet still retains a sense of peacefulness, community and charm through its beautiful open spaces, established neighborhoods, and distinct architecture.  I feel that the city has this amazing way of appealing, and offering, just as much to a young single professional as it does to a family of four.  Throw in year round moderate temperatures, stunning views, and a thriving business environment and it is rather clear as to why San Francisco is regarded as one of the most desirable cities in the world to call home.

In my free time, I enjoy the city's culinary scene, excursions to wine country, cooking, playing tennis, biking, and movie nights at home with the family.

I am a member of the San Francisco Association of Realtors (SFAR), California Association of Realtors (CAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR).
